Where is everybody?

No one is near.

I am left all alone.

I close my eyes to stop the tears.

Don’t understand why it turned out this way.

I just want us all to be here,

all together like the good old days.

We used to laugh, talk, and share.

But now I see nothing lasts forever.

Now I see life is not fair.

-

I sit here thinking about where, why, and how things went wrong.

Why am I all alone and why is everything gone?

If I were to leave this world tomorrow,

wouldn’t anybody notice, wouldn’t anybody care?

Am I here for a purpose?

Or am I here to just take up space?

Life is so complicated, it really is.

The more alone I feel, the more the tears roll down my face.
